Birthday Lunch

It's one of my best friend's birthday today so he came over to my house and i made him lunch. I attempted to make stuffed mushrooms and a cream/meringue/raspberry flan type dessert.

All through winter my dress sense has been moodily dark, very simple and very, very boring. I don't know if it's the gloomy weather, or the freezing cold temperatures that are making me opt for jeans and a big, woolly man's jumper every single morning!

My Mum, like most mothers, has a little obsession with this shop. Whenever she's treating me to a pair of shoes, she will drag me in and try and convince me that I love sensible, practical Clarks as much as she does.
